A VERY HAIRY PEACHES

At the end of two and a half years on the road with the Rub tour there was a lot of hair to be let down, and New Orleans Airlift artists’ collective had the perfect setting for a final showdown. On Friday the 13th, 2017, the outdoor wonderland of their Music Box Village filled fit to burst with revellers as Peaches brought together a hand-picked, all-female crew of local musicians to lower the curtain on Rub in style.

This epic night had an onstage line-up of over 20 performers, including Sean Yseult, Tif Teddy Lamson, Delish Da Goddess, a stellar New Orleans bounce pop dance troupe led by Chanice Holmes, string players from Cauche Mar, horn players from the 9th Ward Marching Band, the 12 piece Flaming Flagette flag performers and a hot burlesque duo.

As New Orleans Airlift said - it was a dream combination to pair up in mischief with Peaches and her no-holds-barred approach in a city she has a long history with; back to her first local performances at Quintron and Miss Pussycat’s Spellcaster Lodge.
